Dr. Brenton Greska

Dr. Brenton Greska is the Associate Director of the Energy & Sustainability Center. He is also an Associate Scholar/Scientist in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Florida State University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida State University in 2005. His doctoral research was in the area of high-speed jet noise and its suppression and his work resulted in a patent application, which is currently under review. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. he worked as an aerospace engineer at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Dr. Greska’s research interests include concentrating solar thermal cogeneration systems, biomass gasification, PEM fuel cells, advanced catalysis and high-speed jet noise suppression.
